Introduction

JSP Media LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the BoardPass mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use BoardPass.

Information We Collect

Information stored locally on your device:

• App preferences — your theme setting (dark/light mode), time format (12h/24h), and text size preference
• Favorite airports — airport codes you save to your favorites list
• Recent airports — airport codes you have recently viewed
• Watched flights — flight numbers you add to your watchlist
• Cached flight data — flight information is temporarily cached on your device to enable offline viewing

This data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We do not transmit, collect, or have access to this information.

Location data (optional):

• If you grant location permission, BoardPass uses your approximate location solely to identify the nearest airport and display it in the “Nearby” section
• Your location data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party
• You can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings without affecting the App’s core functionality

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data

How We Use Information

The only network requests BoardPass makes are to retrieve real-time flight information. When you search for an airport or view a flight board, the App sends a request to our server, which queries the AeroDataBox aviation data service (provided by RapidAPI) to retrieve current flight data.

These requests contain only the airport code or flight number you are searching for. No personal information, device identifiers, or location data is included in these requests.

Third-Party Services

BoardPass uses the following third-party service to provide flight data:

• AeroDataBox (via RapidAPI) — provides real-time flight departure, arrival, and status information. When you request flight data, your query (airport code or flight number) is sent to this service through our server. No personal data is transmitted. You can review RapidAPI’s privacy policy at rapidapi.com/privacy.

Data Storage and Security

All user preferences and cached data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate databases that store user information. Flight data retrieved from our API is temporarily cached on your device to enable offline functionality and is automatically refreshed when connectivity is restored.

Children’s Privacy

BoardPass does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require account creation and does not collect personal identifiers from any user, regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of BoardPass after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since BoardPass stores all data locally on your device, you have complete control over your data at all times:

• View your data — all your preferences, favorites, and cached data are visible within the App
• Delete your data — uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. You can also clear cached data through your device’s storage settings.
• Control location access — manage location permissions through your device’s Settings app at any time
